Spain is preparing for the 2026 World Cup and has regrouped following the cancellation of La Finalissima. Following the release of the World Cup home jersey last November, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) launched a white away jersey produced by Adidas this week.
La Roja’s home jersey has a retro look, reminiscent of some of the old jerseys from the 1990s. Their new away shirt is white with red trim and detailed graphics on the front. According to Cadena Ser, the details were inspired by classic manuscripts and books from Spain’s past. The adidas publication also notes that it traces its heritage to Spain.
Spain confirms second friendly match with Egypt
After the La Finalissima match in Qatar was canceled as the Spanish Football Federation and the Argentinian Football Federation were unable to agree on an alternative venue, La Roja have been stepping up their game to avoid disrupting their World Cup preparations, with Luis de la Fuente announcing his final squad ahead of the World Cup on Friday. The first match will be at La Ceramica in Ciudad Real, where they will face Serbia on March 27.

Spain will face Egypt after the final in Doha, and it is not yet certain whether the Pharaohs will still be Spain’s opponents. However, the Spanish Football Federation has confirmed that the second friendly match against Egypt will be played on March 31 at Espanyol’s RCDE Stadium.
