Officials are sharing rainfall amounts in Southern California after two weeks of storms during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
“Here are the impressive 14 days of rainfall totals for Southwest California!” the National Weather Service posted early Monday, citing data from Ventura County Public Works.
The map, color-coded with red (high), yellow (medium) and green (light) rainfall amounts, shows the heaviest downpours flooding the region’s mountain and foothill areas.
Multiple stations in the San Gabriel Mountains measured between 10 and 20 inches of rain, with one area in the Los Angeles National Forest recording 22.29 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

Although dry weather is expected this week, downtown Los Angeles received about 7 inches of rain over the past 14 days, giving the city a boost for the water season.
According to the National Weather Service, downtown Los Angeles has received 14.2 inches of rain since July 1, which is 9.75 inches above the normal rainfall of 4.45 inches for this time of the season.
Pasadena and Santa Clarita also recorded heavy rainfall, with about 10 inches each over the past two weeks.
