Sony has announced that it will launch a series of free games on PlayStation Plus in June as part of its annual Days of Play celebrations, which begins on May 29. Through this promotion, PlayStation will offer free monthly games to all PS Plus users in June, as well as bonus games and game trials from the Game Catalog, Classic Catalog, and PS VR2, among other offers, to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members. The PS Plus monthly game lineup for June includes SpongeBob SquarePants: Cosmic Shock, AEW Fight Forever, and Streets of Rage 4. These three games will be available to all PS Plus members on June 4th.

The PS Plus game, along with other Days of Play gaming products, was announced on the PlayStation Blog on Tuesday. The Days of Play celebrations begin today and will last until June 12th. It’s also worth noting that May’s free PS Plus game, EA Sports FC 24, will be available for redemption by all PS Plus subscribers until June 18.

Additional games in the PS Plus May monthly game lineup (Ghostrunner 2, Tunic, and Destiny 2: Lightfall announced earlier this month) can be added to the library until June 3. The following is the PS Plus monthly game lineup for June.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Cosmic Shock

AEW Fight Forever

AEW Fight Forever is a professional wrestling game based on the American wrestling promotion All Elite Wrestling, similar to the popular WWE 2K series. Developed by Yuke’s, AEW Fight Forever leans more toward an arcade-style wrestling game and presentation rather than a more grounded depiction. The game features different modes and competition styles, spanning single-player and online multiplayer. Fight Forever also features a career mode called Path to the Elite, where players can create a custom character or choose to play as a wrestler from the AEW roster. AEW Fight Forever will be available on PS4 and PS5.

The game allows up to four local players or two online players to work together to defeat waves of enemies and pass levels. Each character has their own unique abilities, aided by item pickups, special moves, and combos. Streets of Rage 4 is out on PS4.

In addition to June’s PS Plus monthly game lineup, Sony also announced four bonus games for the PS Plus game catalog. These include fishing role-playing game Dredge (available on PS4 and PS5 from May 29), action-adventure game LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 (available on PS4 from May 31), sports simulation game Cricket 24 (available on PS4 and PS5 from June 5), and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – Definitive Edition (available on PS4 and PS5 from June 7).
