A clip originally filmed in September 2025 has recently begun circulating online again after being reposted on March 9. And it went viral the second time around!

In the video, Trump can be seen speaking to reporters outside the White House before heading to the U.S. Open men’s final. During the exchange, he answered questions about the Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.…, his decision to rename the Department of Defense, and his reasoning for targeting cities like Chicago in his recent crackdown on crime.

During the conversation, Trump appeared to snap at a reporter: “That’s fake news. Listen. Be quiet and listen. You don’t listen. You never listen. That’s why you’re second rate.”

Then he added: “We’re not going to fight. We’re going to clean up our cities. We’re going to clean them up so they don’t kill five people every weekend. This isn’t war, this is common sense.”

Internet reaction

“Who’s shocked?” one Instagram user asked. “What he says makes no sense,” thought the second, and the third exclaimed: “That kind of sense doesn’t make sense these days!”

A fourth quipped: “Boldness must come at a discount,” while a fifth declared: “This is crazy.” “I can’t believe this is our reality,” a sixth wrote, with a seventh adding: “This is not the right way to talk to people.”

“He likes to talk down to smart women!” declared an eighth, with a ninth agreeing: “He wouldn’t do that to a man.” “He would never do that to a male reporter,” echoed an eleventh, who chimed in: “I don’t care who you are, speaking to me like that as an adult is unacceptable!”
