The Nebraska basketball team defeated Penn State 87-64 on Saturday afternoon. Pryce Sandfort put on a show in this game, hitting a school-record eight three-pointers and scoring a career-high 33 points.
Brenden Frager had 15 points and six rebounds, while senior Sam Hoiberg notched his first career double-double with 11 points and 10 assists (career highs).

Jamarques Lawrence scored nine points but left the game with an injury and did not return. Fred Hoiberg said he’s dealing with an ankle injury.
The Huskers will take on Maryland on Wednesday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Game time is set for 6pm Central Time and can be watched on BTN.
