Shots fired after fight outside East El Paso strip mall

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A physical altercation followed a shooting early Friday morning, March 6, outside an East El Paso strip mall, according to social media video posted on FitFam.

The video shows a group of people who appear to be teenagers getting into a physical altercation, with gunshots heard shortly after. The group then fled from the shopping center located at 1641 North Zaragoza.

The video also shows red tape in the area after police responded, with the person in the video saying no one was allowed to leave the area because there was blood at the scene.

The area is currently closed and the shooting is under investigation.

El Paso police confirmed a shooting in the area and received a call at 1:15 a.m., but they did not say whether anyone was injured in the shooting or whether anyone had been arrested.
