There is a new development in the story of former University of Michigan football coach Sherron Moore. He was fired and even arrested after being accused of having an “inappropriate” relationship with a staff member.
Justin Spiro reports that Moore’s wife and alleged staff member Paige Shiver appear to be following each other on Instagram. Spiro showed photos of what appear to be related profiles, but none of the women have yet to break their silence.

Moore was fired after a university investigation found he violated university policies.
“University of Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore has been fired with cause, effective immediately,” Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel said in a statement in December. 2025. “Following a university investigation, there is credible evidence that Coach Moore had an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. This conduct is a clear violation of university policy and the University of Michigan has zero tolerance for such conduct.”
The university did not mention which staff member was involved. Michigan officials did not mention Shiver, and she has not commented on the allegations.
Who is Paige Schiffer?
She currently works in the athletic department at the University of Michigan. She is the daughter of Chicago Bears scout Jeff Schiffer, according to her profile on the Bears website. In 2016, she wrote about life with Pompe disease, a rare genetic disorder that causes a person to be unable to break down glycogen in the body. This can lead to a buildup of muscle cells, which can lead to heart and muscle problems.

According to the Bears’ website, she was an athletic, active college student who worked out regularly. In 2015, as a junior at Purdue University, Shiver reported that she began to feel very tired and in pain.
“I would go for a run, but I couldn’t run for more than five minutes because my lungs started to suffer,” she said. “It was really hard for me to breathe and my legs felt so heavy, like I could barely lift them.”
After college, she completed a degree in retail management at Purdue University, according to a 2013 biography of her high school days. Now in her 30s, she had been under the radar until investigations and speculation linked her to Moore.
