Shark Tank India concluded its first season last week. The business reality show, modeled after its American counterpart, featured a whopping 198 startups, 67 of which secured deals from investors popularly known as “sharks.” The show introduces new business concepts through 35 episodes and is aired on Sony Entertainment Television’s SET India channel. The episodes will air from December 20, 2021 to February 4, 2022.

MamaEarth Ghazal Alagh co-founder and CEO, Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director Namita Thapar, Lenskart co-founder and CEO Peyush Bansal and Sugar Cosmetics co-founder and CEO Vineeta Singh were the other panellists at the show.
