Update: As of 4:15 p.m. Thursday, the incident has been resolved.
GUNNSON COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) – Traffic is currently being delayed after a semi-trailer rolled over on Highway 50 approximately 27 miles east of Montrose.
Colorado State Patrol (CSP) responded to the incident at Milepost 124 at 11:01 a.m. Thursday
The driver of the semitrailer was transported to a local hospital. The extent of the injuries is currently unknown.
CSP estimates that the accident resulted in the semitrailer leaking at least 5 gallons of fuel and less than 5 gallons of hydraulic fluid.
Damage to a private fence was reported.
No further information is available about the crash, which remains under investigation by CSP.
As of 1:30 p.m., traffic in the area alternated between County Road 867 and County Road 50B. Travelers are advised to exercise caution and slow down.
