Work is already underway on next NFL season.

The league never rests, and teams with the Super Bowl just weeks away are already overhauling their rosters for the upcoming season. The first dominoes in the process will begin next month as NFL free agency begins.

Free agency will officially open on March 11 at 4 p.m. ET, the start of the 2026 league year. At noon ET on March 9, pending free agents can begin negotiating with other teams and agreeing to trades.

Which former Jets players will be favored after Green is having another terrible season? USA Today ranked the top 100 free agents, and some familiar names emerged.
