AMES – The Iowa women’s basketball team not only remains in the top 10 in the latest Associated Press poll, but it remains in the exact same spot.
The Cyclones remained ranked No. 10 in the latest poll released on Dec. 8. Iowa State was ranked No. 10 a week ago.

Iowa doesn’t have much of a chance to move up in the polls after playing just one game last week. On December 7, the team defeated Northern Illinois University in a landslide 105-52.

There will be plenty of opportunity for two in-state games this week. Iowa will host No. 11 Iowa State on Dec. 10 and Northern Iowa on Dec. 14.
Iowa State starts the week 10-0 for the first time since the 2013-14 season, when the Cyclones started the season on a 14-game winning streak.
