Scheffler wins fourth straight PGA Tour Player of the Year

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has been named the PGA Tour Player of the Year for the fourth consecutive season after two major wins, the PGA Tour announced Monday.

Scheffler won six titles in 2025, becoming only the second player after Tiger Woods to do so in four or more consecutive seasons.

“Scottie continues his pursuit of history on the PGA Tour and his continued success is amazing and we are excited to see what he will accomplish in 2026,” Tour CEO Brian Rolapp said.

Scheffler, 29, won his third major championship by five strokes at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow in May.

In July, he finished fourth at the British Open at Royal Portrush.

South Africa’s Aldrich Potgett was named the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year.

Potgett, 21, is one of five rookies to win on Tour in 2025 and the only one to reach the FedExCup Playoffs.
