She fought former flyweight champion Alexa Grasso at UFC 324 on January 24, but Grasso was forced out and replaced by Silva.

Silva (19-5-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) has been making plays, with her last two wins coming over former champion Jessica Andrade and her most recent win over Grasso at UFC 315 in May. The 28-year-old Brazilian has won 13 consecutive matches.
