McIlroy unveiled his dinner menu during a Zoom call with members of the media on Wednesday, and the Masters’ social media accounts were quick to post a post that has become routine in recent years.

Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy poses with the Masters trophy during a green jacket ceremony after winning the 2025 Masters Championship at Augusta National Golf Club on April 13, 2025 in Augusta, Georgia.
McIlroy, who won the 2025 Masters in a dramatic playoff run to complete the career Grand Slam and win his fifth major, had plenty of time to think about ideas for his menu.
Shortly after his win, Carson Daly asked him on NBC’s “Today Show” if he had any plans for the menu.
“I’ve been into wild game lately, like venison, elk, things like that,” McIlroy said. “I don’t know if that’s in it. It’s kind of fueling this campaign, so maybe it’s something like that.”
It’s one of the traditions that sets Augusta apart from other tournaments, in that the winner gets to pick and pay for the food at a winners-only dinner. The Dinner of Champions dates back to the 1952 Masters, when it was hosted by defending champion Ben Hogan to honor past champions of the tournament.
