Rhea Ripley Tells WWE Women’s Champ ‘Learn To Work’ In Now-Deleted IG Story

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill took to social media on Monday to attack Rhea Ripley as multiple women on the roster feuded with the blue brand’s Women’s Champion online. Ripley, who was set to face Cargill at WrestleMania 42 after her Steel Cage Elimination Chamber win, posted a since-deleted Instagram story saying Cargill should learn how to work.

Fightful posted a screenshot of the deleted story on X, formerly known as Twitter, showing Ripley’s post with simple white text on a black background.

“No fun,” Ripley wrote in the post. “Not friends. Learn to work and never defame someone’s true humanity by ‘breaking the fourth wall’ with lies.”

The feud on social media appears to have started on Monday, when Cargill responded to Chelsea Green’s post on X following the Ripley Chamber of Commerce win. Green cited a fan’s post questioning Ripley’s entry into WrestleMania VII, where she will compete for the title, to which Green responded by saying “The Eradicator” is “proving that you can be kind, respectful and the most talented wrestler in the world.”

“No point in embarrassing you on this app. You always have something to say about everything,” Cargill said in a post quoting Greene’s message. Green’s doubles partner Piper Niven, who is currently sidelined with an injury, also joined the conversation and said the world is not centered around Cargill.

Ripley started attacking Cargill on Sunday at X, and after her Chamber of Commerce victory, she retweeted a video from WWE in which she told Cargill she’d be coming for her at WrestleMania and that she “better put her wrestling boots on,” ending the video with “Bring it on, b****.” The two women then spoke directly back and forth, with Ripley telling Cargill that all she does is talk, to which Cargill responded: “Like how much time do you spend talking to creatives?”
