After the win, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a cash incentive of Rs 131 crore to the team and support staff. According to news agency PTI, the prize money will be shared among the 15 players, coaching staff and other support staff who made the event a success.

It is understood that each player is expected to receive Rs 6 crore and the remaining Rs 41 crore will be distributed among the support staff based on their roles.
The amount is slightly higher than the Rs 125-crore reward given to the Rohit Sharma-led team in 2024 if they win the title.
BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia congratulated the team and said, “The Board once again congratulates the players, support staff and selectors on this historic achievement and wishes them continued success in the future.”
India defeated the New Zealand national cricket team by 96 runs in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday to seal the title.
