Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Huskies will be hosting a large number of unofficial visitors for Junior Day next weekend and we will make sure to list some on-campus visitors next weekend. Today I want to take a moment to discuss some new 2027 offers that are targeted at some interesting prospects:
Camille Louder, a three-star cornerback from Bishop Gorman High School in Nevada, was offered by the University of Washington last week. Louder, ranked the No. 74 best cornerback in the country and the No. 9 best rookie cornerback in the state of Nevada by 247sports, also had offers from Utah State, Arizona State, ASU, Florida State, Miami and Wisconsin. The Huskies have really been developing bigger cornerbacks under Coach Fish and his staff, and Louder fits that mold (he’s listed at 6-foot-1 and about 185 pounds). Louder is an interesting cornerback who has good ball skills, good instincts and a size that the Huskies like.
Another new offer for the class of 2027 was released in New Jersey. Sean Curry, a three-star tight end out of Lawrenceville High School in New Jersey, received an offer from the Huskies last week. The Huskies currently offer 10 players in the 2027 class in New Jersey, and Curry is the 16th tight end in the class. At 6-foot-7 and about 230 pounds, Curry is a huge tight end (he currently plays at the University of Virginia). Curry is currently ranked as the 21st-best tight end in the 2027 class by 247sports and also has offers from Penn State, Florida State, Pitt and Wisconsin. Curry had 34 catches for 474 yards and eight touchdowns last season.
The Huskies now have seven commits in the 2027 class and their goal is definitely to break out of the 2026 class, which ranks No. 13 nationally, and there’s a good chance the Huskies can surpass it this year. As official visits start to heat up, next weekend’s junior day will go a long way in solidifying the class and preparing the Huskies for a strong run this spring/early summer. That’s all for now, as always please follow me @asieverkropp.
