The memories of his recent trip to Lambeau Field will be even better. He had a front-row seat to Derrick Henry’s glorious night. He threw a touchdown pass to Zay Flowers to end the game. He wears a large foam cheese grader. hurry up. What could be better than playing “Cheeseheads”?
Huntley’s performance was nothing short of superb. He was at his best and made key plays when his teammates needed him, earning him some public praise as the game’s MVP shortly after the game. Future Hall of Fame inductee Derrick Henry had some elite praise for the offensive signal-caller.
“‘Snoopy’ [Tyler Huntley] It’s ready. I know whenever his time [came]he is about to deliver the goods. We’ve been talking this week. We knew what we had to do, and I told him, “We need Hallandale ‘Snoopy’ to graduate from high school.” He said, “Let’s go.” When we got out, I said, “Oh, he’s locked in.” So, it wasn’t [any] surprises me. “Snoopy” has been preparing for this all season, and it shows the hard work he’s put in. “
Most of us don’t train with Huntley every day, so we have to take Henry’s word for it. This game seems to be enough evidence, though. Huntley seemed confident in the days leading up to the game.
His performance was significant, not just for himself but for the calmness he provided for his teammates. They trust him. They believe in him, just like they believe in Lamar Jackson.

Zay Flowers also spoke to the media after the game. He wasn’t stingy in his praise for Huntley either. He gave the Ravens’ backup quarterback a thumbs-up and spoke with Lamar Jackson’s support staff.
“[Tyler Huntley] Getting out. He is serving. He was always ready for his moment. Whenever he shows up, I can trust him to always be ready… Lamar [Jackson cheers for his teammates]so this is not surprising to me. That’s what he does on the court. That’s what he does off the field. He wants to see everyone perform well, even if he’s not playing, so you can see who he is. “
For Huntley, Lambeau Field represents proof of growth after a painful loss a few years ago. This is a sign of trust, preparation and putting in all the effort when needed.
He’s not trying to be Lamar Jackson. He doesn’t have to be like this. Baltimore doesn’t need another Lamar Jackson. They need a true Tyler Huntley: stable, confident, ready.
A quarterback room thrives on more than just talent. Their growth relies on belief, preparation and the mutual respect of their teammates. On this night, that belief was evident. Henry’s words and Flowers’ confidence in Huntley are a testament to the bond we have created and we hope that bond will be strengthened in the playoffs.
