Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford received 31 first-place votes when the Associated Press announced the NFL’s first- and second-team All-Pro teams on Saturday, a possible clue to the outcome of the MVP vote. Derek Meyer of the New England Patriots received 18 first-place votes.
“It’s awesome,” Stafford said as he was named an All-Pro for the first time in his 17-year career. “I didn’t see this coming. I played for many years. Have a lot of respect for the game. A lot of respect for other people who do the same thing that I do. It’s not an easy thing to do. It means a lot.”
Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills was the only quarterback to finish first.

Stafford, who turns 38 the day before Super Bowl LX, went 12-5 for the Rams this season, passing for 4,707 yards, 46 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He is now the second player to earn first-team All-Pro honors in his 17th season or later, joining former Minnesota Vikings kicker Gary Anderson, who went 35-for-35 on field goals and 59 for 59 extra points in 1998, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Three players – Cleveland Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett, Rams wide receiver Puka Nakua and Seattle Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Ngiba – earned 50 of the 50 first-place votes.
Garrett sacked 23 quarterbacks this season, breaking the NFL’s single-season sack record. This was the fifth time in his career that he was selected as an All-Pro.
Nacua, a 2023 second-team All-Pro selection, had 129 catches for a career-high 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. Two-time Pro Bowler Smith-Njigba led the NFL in receiving yards in 2025 with 1,793 yards on 119 catches. He also had a career-high 10 touchdown catches.
