The Raiders completed a blockbuster trade with the Baltimore Ravens on Friday night, receiving two first-round draft picks from Las Vegas in exchange for star edge rusher Marquez Crosby.
While losing Crosby is a heavy blow to the Raiders’ pass rush next season, the move also enhances the stability of the Raiders’ 2026 draft picks while opening up more cap space.
Here’s where the Raiders stand in both areas following the Crosby trade.
Raiders’ cap space after Max Crosby trade
The deal has yet to be officially announced, but Over The Cap projects Las Vegas will have as much as $121.7 million in free agent salary space, which, unsurprisingly, is the most in the NFL, and by a wide margin.

The additional cap space comes from the Raiders taking Crosby’s $30 million base salary in 2026 off the books.
Raiders 2026 NFL Draft picks
Of course, the Raiders now have two first-round picks in this year’s draft, with the pick acquired from the Ravens landing at No. 14. According to Tankathon, general manager John Spytek now projects 11 draft picks:
-
Round 4 (from JAX, via MIN)
-
Round 4 (projected compensatory draft)
-
Round 5 (projected compensatory draft)
-
Round 6 (from JAX via NYJ)
The additional fourth- and sixth-round picks both came from Jakobi Meyers’ trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but those picks originally belonged to the Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets.
The departures of free agents Trayvon Moehrig and Robert Spillane put the Raiders at the top of the list of two projected compensatory draft picks based on the formula.

Parting with Crosby could leave the Raiders with one of the worst rosters in the NFL, but with all the cap space and the plethora of draft picks Las Vegas possesses, there’s a clear path to turning things around quickly.
