PS Plus Game Catalog Adds Cyberpunk 2077, Abiotic Factor, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and More in July

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PlayStation Plus. CD Projekt Red’s critically acclaimed RPG has been added to the PS Plus game catalog as part of the list of games joining the service in July. Other games entering the game catalog this month include survival game Abiotic Factor, action RPG Outcast: Ghosts of New Eden, roguelike shooter Risk of Rain 2, construction and management sim Planet Zoo, and more.

Cyberpunk 2077 was added to the PS Plus game catalog on July 9, while Abiotic Factor became available on July 22. All other games will be added to the subscription service on July 15th. Sony also announced two classic Twisted Metal games that will be available for PS Plus Premium users this month. The following is a detailed introduction to the PS Plus game catalog lineup in July:

As part of PlayStation Plus’s 15th anniversary celebrations, Cyberpunk 2077 has been added to the game catalog. PS Plus subscribers can also enjoy an exclusive 30% discount on the game’s Phantom Liberty expansion on the PlayStation Store until July 23. CD Projekt Red’s RPG struggled when it launched in 2020, but the studio has since released multiple updates to support the game, bringing new content, improvements, and gameplay features.

The game tells the story of V, a small-time hustler who rises from the streets to become a Night City legend. Along the way, players will shape V’s journey, choose allies, and determine V’s fate in a dangerous future metropolis. Cyberpunk 2077 is now available in the PS4 and PS5 game catalogs.

Abiotic Factor will join PS Plus later this month as part of the final catalog of games. Abiotic Factor is a narrative-driven survival crafting game, a cooperative experience set in an underground research facility where you work to contain an outbreak of paranormal activity.

The game is a day one release on PS Plus. It will be available in Early Access on PC starting in May 2024. Abiotic Factor will release version 1.0 on PlayStation and Xbox on July 22nd.

“Exile: Soul of New Eden” was released last year and will be available on PS Plus this month. Developed by Don’t Nod, this action RPG puts players in the shoes of two ghost hunters investigating a haunting in a small village. The game presents two different combat mechanics through two protagonists, with a large number of meaningful choices to shape the outcome of the story. Outcast: Soul of New Eden will be released on PS5.

“Risk of Rain 2” will be added to the game catalog on July 15th. This roguelike third-person shooter places players on a hostile alien planet. In between encounters with monsters, you must find loot to upgrade your abilities and survive the dangerous environment. The game is the sequel to 2010’s Risk of Rain and features a unique art style and visually stunning combat.

As you level up your character, the game becomes more difficult. “Risk of Rain 2” can be played solo, and supports up to four people in online cooperation. It will be available on PS4 and PS5.

The PS Plus game catalog will also be adding a few construction and management simulation games this month: Planet Zoo and Tropico 6. In Zoo Star, you build and manage a zoo with various animal species and special enclosures at your disposal. In Tropico 6, you are the titular president of the island, responsible for all affairs on the island. Both games will be released on PS Plus on July 15th.

Sony will add Twisted Metal 3 and Twisted Metal 4 to its classic catalog on July 15th. Both games will be available to PS Plus Deluxe/Premium level members.
