Salt Lake City(ABC4) — Jeffrey R. Holland, president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, has been hospitalized, according to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The church announced Wednesday that Holland had been hospitalized. “He is receiving specialist care and spending time with loved ones this Christmas period.”
Holland’s family expressed gratitude for the many prayers offered for him.

It’s unclear what Holland’s health complications are.
“President Holland and his family … send greetings of faith and peace in this season of commemoration of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” the church said in a statement.
Holland’s health complications date back many years. In August 2023, the famous apostle Hospitalized due to health complications.
