People Are Ripping Trump Over The New Details He Just Shared About His Planned White House Ballroom

Back in July, President Donald Trump announced plans to build a $200 million ballroom at the White House.

Then, in late October, the East Wing of the White House was suddenly demolished to make room for the project, whose cost had soared to $300 million, paid for by the president and some of his “friends.”

Well, on Monday, he shared some new details about the planned ballroom, and it sounds pretty ominous.

“We’re under budget but ahead of schedule,” Trump said of the ballroom during a news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He continued, “It’s bigger than I told you. After realizing we were going to have an inauguration in that building, it was all bulletproof glass, it had everything – drones – they called it a ‘drone-free roof.’ “It was drones – wouldn’t touch it. This is a large, beautiful and safe building. “

In response, some are excited about the “class” and “beauty” the monument will bring to our nation’s capital.

People pointed out that it certainly sounded like what he was describing was a bunker.

Not to mention how disconnected the entire ballroom project feels compared to the actual concerns of the average American.
