Rep. Ritchie Torres is introducing a bill called the Rapid Identification Act to help people identify ICE agents who hide their identities. “There is nothing the Trump administration fears more than transparency and accountability,” a spokesman for Torres said recently.

The Rapid Identification Act requires ICE agents to wear a QR code on their uniforms that, when scanned, directs the scanner to a website that contains details about the officer’s identity, including name and badge number.

The newly introduced bill went viral online, with many taking to the streets to question its practicality. This is what they said:
