As a freshman in 2024, Reynolds appeared in 16 games, including four starts. He had nine catches for 11 yards and a touchdown, while also running for 32 yards on a fake punt.

In 2025, Luke Reynolds played in 13 games, starting 7 of them. Although he hasn’t reached the end zone this season, he has 267 catches for 257 yards. He did have two carries for 26 yards.

Prior to his time at Penn State, Luke Reynolds was a coveted top-100 prospect, listed as a four-star recruit in the 2024 class and ranked No. 62 overall in the country, according to Rival Industry Rankings. He also came out of Westford (Mass.) Cheshire Academy, where he was the fourth-ranked tight end in his class and the No. 1 player in the state.

In high school, Reynolds earned five varsity letters and served as team captain. He led the team to a 7-2 record and a NEPSAC Bowl Championship. He was also named NEPSAC MVP.

Luke Reynolds had 48 catches for 754 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior. He averaged 15.7 yards per catch.

Luke Reynolds joins Blacksburg’s Quashawn Brown

Virginia Tech is putting together a nice roster of offensive weapons, and Luke Reynolds is the latest addition. However, he’s not the only one like this. Duke receiver Quashawn Brown have Commit to Virginia Tech via NCAA Transfer Portalhe told On3’s Hayes Fawcett. He enters the portal after spending the past two seasons with the Blue Devils.

Brown is a huge bright spot in the portal. He has 105 catches for 1,291 yards and seven touchdowns over the past two years.

Que’Sean Brown actually played in two games during the 2023 season, his first year on campus. But he ultimately didn’t contribute much, finishing with just two catches for 19 yards and ultimately redshirted.

He had a breakout season in 2024, playing in all 13 games for the team. Brown had 41 catches for 445 yards and two touchdowns.

For Quashawn Brown, this is just the beginning. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, Brown became a full-fledged star. This season, Brown has caught 64 passes for 864 yards and five touchdowns.
