Kevin Garnett on LeBron James: 20 years of excellence at anything? Come on, man. Still catching high balls around 40. He will be by far the best 40-year-old player in our game. So, shout out to Bron. He does it because you have to go out and earn it. You must get dressed. You have to put the ball into the bucket. When people expect you to show up, you have to show up, and he did that. Shout out to LeBron. Paul Pierce: No one had the greatest individual career like LeBron James. When you look at it from top to bottom, you will find that whether it is data, achievements, or from the best team to the All-Star, to the points, they are all at the top. In the NBA climate we’re in, load management, no one has that longevity…and LeBron is 41 years old and he doesn’t even respect load management the way he plays on the court. He comes from a different era. No one will catch this. I’m trying to think of a player right now who has a chance to do that, who is going down that path. If we say like KD, he has to play for another 10 years. Garnett: He has to want to play. Q: KD will score more points than MJ this season. So it’s a great honor. Pierce: He will pass MJ with 33,000. To surpass LeBron, he still needs 10,000 points. You put in 2,000 points a year for the next five years, you have to average 25 points a game and play in all 82 games… Garnett: And he’s got to want to play. That’s another story.
