Packers QB Jordan Love goes back to locker room after taking helmet-to-helmet hit

The Green Bay Packers lost defensive end Micah Parsons, one of their two most essential players, to a torn ACL last week.

The Packers lost another player they can’t afford in a big game Saturday night against the Chicago Bears.

Quarterback Jordan Love took a hard hit from Bears defensive end Anthony Booker and, after being evaluated on the sideline, returned to the locker room with his coach.

In the second quarter, Love returned the ball and Booker rushed directly towards him. Love lowered his head and Booker put his helmet against his. The Bears were penalized for the hit, but the Packers paid dearly.

Love lay on the ground, got up and went to the blue medical tent. Malik Willis took his place.

The Packers have dealt with numerous injuries this season but are 9-4-1 heading into Saturday’s game against the Bears. Losing Love in the first half was a huge blow to me.
