Jevan Diouf has not featured in Ligue 1 since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), however, he is expected to replace Maxime Dupuy when they face Lorient in the Coupe de France quarter-finals on Wednesday night.
Dupuy has overtaken Diouf in the pecking order at Allianz Riviera, but Diouf will have the chance to stake his claim on Wednesday night. Nice head coach Claude Poole will have to contend with a number of missing players Les Merus. Sofian Diop is suspended, while the likes of Moise Bombito, Isaac Janssen, Aye Wahi, Mohamed Abdelmonem, Youssef Ndashimiye and Hisham Boudaoui are all missing through injury or fitness issues. That means Kevin Carlos is likely to lead the way again.
