The draw for the knockout stages of the 2025-26 Europa League has now been completed, with Roma and Bologna informed that they will meet in the last 16. Here are the full results from Friday’s draw.
The Europa League knockout draw will take place on Friday, March 27, at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, following the conclusion of the play-off rounds on Thursday evening.

All-Italian Europa League draw: Roma vs. Bologna

Roma finished eighth in the Europa League stage, which was good enough for an automatic place in the last 16, while Bologna finished 10th and advanced to the last 16 by beating Bryan 2-0 over two legs in the play-offs.

Thursday’s draw resulted in an all-Italian draw in the last 16, with Roma facing Bologna over two legs in March. These games will be played on March 12th and March 19th. The exact time will be determined later Friday evening. Here’s the full knockout schedule:
Top 16: March 12 and March 19
Quarterfinals: April 9th ​​and April 16th
Semifinals: April 30 and May 7
Final: May 20th.

Roma and Bologna have only met once in Serie A so far this season and have not met since the first round of the 2025-26 season. That match ended with Roma winning 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico.
The two teams will also face off again in Dalara in Serie A on April 26.
