N’Golo Kante (34) has completed his move to Fenerbahce. The France international has signed a contract that runs until the summer of 2028.
Kante looks ready to join Fenerbahce before the deadline. However, the deal ultimately fell through at the eleventh hour, with the Turkish club accusing Al-Ittihad of failing to submit the relevant documents. The collapse of the deal also saw Yusuf En-Nesyri’s deal fall through, with the deal unable to be revived as the transfer window closed in Saudi Arabia on Monday.

However, Kante was desperate to complete his move to Fenerbahce and it has now been done. In order to complete the transfer, he had to terminate his contract with Al-Ittihad, allowing him to join the Turkish team on a free transfer. En-Nesyri did the same thing, but moved in the opposite direction.
Having completed his move, Kante is now aiming to secure his place in the France squad ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup.
