Dynamo confirmed his contribution and importance by confirming that his number 2 jersey will be temporarily retired for the upcoming 2026 season.
It is worth noting that Jalay participated in the recently concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco with the Zimbabwe team and made his debut for the Warriors in March 2025.
Now the right-back is set to start a new chapter in the lucrative Betway Premier League, where he will work under Manchester City’s recently appointed head coach Sinitemba Badela.
He becomes KwaZulu-Natal’s third signing of the window, following Ronaldo Mallman and Sifewe Mahlangu, both on loan from Sekuhun United.
