One of the last unresolved issues in the 2025 NFL regular season schedule has been resolved.
On Wednesday, the NFL announced the selection of Saturday’s game for a Week 17 doubleheader: the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Chargers will face off at 4:30 PM ET on NFL Network, followed by the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Green Bay Packers at 8 PM ET on Peacock.

The league has five possible games from which to choose from for Saturday’s game. The other three games — Arizona Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants vs. Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks vs. Carolina Panthers — are all scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
The two tilts selected on Saturday in Week 17 could have very important implications for the playoff race.
The Texans are making a strong playoff push after winning their past five games, giving them a chance to compete for a wild-card berth and possibly even a third straight AFC South title. They will face the team that was eliminated in the wild-card round last season – the Chargers, who are also currently clinging to a wild-card spot.
Meanwhile, the Packers are currently the NFC’s second seed, but they face stiff competition in the NFC North. The Ravens are currently out of contention for the AFC playoffs, but they are looking to regroup in a bid to win the AFC North title against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
