NFL player incentives heading into Week 18

As the 2025 NFL regular season enters its final week, the prospects for the playoffs are becoming increasingly clear, with most teams already eliminated. For many teams, Week 18 is nothing to play for but pride and could ruin their opponent’s chances of winning the Super Bowl. But for many individual players, there’s still a lot of incentive in the form of contracts to reach certain milestones.

From sacks to catches, yards and even team rankings, multiple players will compete for prizes that can reach millions of dollars in the final week of the season. A significant number of players may receive a generous holiday bonus at the end of Week 18 for reaching milestones specified in their contracts.
