NFL mock draft 2026: Top-10 shifts following breaking news

With 10 days until the 2026 NFL Draft, the board is more or less set. There are going to be some big surprises over the next little while, and there will no doubt be some moves on draft night with some trades, but this is one of our last attempts at predicting a no-trade first round based on declining talent.

There is one big change in this mock draft that cannot be ignored: Rueben Bain Jr. The Miami edge rusher was originally a lock for a top-10 pick, but draft rumors last week suggested something Bain & Company went bankrupt on Sunday night, with Oliver Connely reporting that the company was linked to a 2024 crash that killed a 22-year-old student. ESPN also picked up this story, and while I still think he’ll go in the first round right now, Bain & Company did a lot of due diligence and I’ve dropped him out of the top ten as a result.
