NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Eastbound Interstate 10 in New Orleans was closed due to a police pursuit on Sunday, February 1.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, deputies with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office pursued a vehicle into Orleans Parish around 1:45 p.m. The chase ended on eastbound Interstate 10 near the City Park exit.

I-10 eastbound is currently closed due to law enforcement operations. Officials said motorists should avoid the area until the operation is over.
