Early in the fourth quarter of the Timberwolves’ 138-116 victory over the Hawks, Reid and Gay began to struggle after Gay pushed Reid near the wing and was called for a foul. Things escalated quickly, with several assistant coaches and other players separating the two men after they grabbed each other’s jerseys.
