Sisao, a French fine-dining restaurant in Lambertville co-owned by celebrity chef Brian Held, will close Saturday.
Holder invites customers to recommend favorite dishes from his menu to help create the final menu for the week.
Possible offerings include truffle wild mushroom soup, sweetbread risotto and veal blanquet, according to a post on the business website.
The restaurant, which bills itself as a “dining experience in Provence and the South of France,” will be offering a $75 fixed-price menu for its final days, without any small plates.
“As this chapter of Brian’s journey comes to a close, he invites you – his loyal customers – to recommend one of his favorite dishes; it may become part of the final week’s menu,” the site states.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Brian over the years at Sisao and all previous venues. It means a lot.”
Next steps have not been disclosed, but the site says customers who remain on the email list will be informed of future developments.
