Ramos wrote in the message: “Only those with personality can miss him., Ibrahim.”
He added: “Always keep your head high, brother. Football always gives us a chance for revenge and you gave us much more than what we lost today. Let’s go to the next game with greater strength! Always in my team.”
In the final minutes of the African Cup of Nations final, Morocco was awarded a penalty kick after a VAR review – a decision that sparked intense controversy among the Lions of Telangana and resulted in the game being temporarily stopped.
After the restart, Diaz attempted a Panenka, but Al Ahly goalkeeper Edouard Mendy read the move perfectly to deny him as Senegal secured a second Africa Cup of Nations title.
