Ian Begley: Mike Brown was asked if tomorrow’s DET game has some extra importance since DET beat the Knicks in each of their first two games of the season. "Yes, it should. Not only did they win the game, they beat us. So for us, I don’t want to say this game is more important than the next game. Every game is extremely important. But there’s always going to be a moment when you play a game – if the win is as lopsided as those two losses – that it shakes you up a little bit. At the end of the day, if we win tomorrow or win the next two games – or however many games we play – that doesn’t necessarily guarantee that we’re going to beat them in the playoffs – or vice versa. I firmly believe this. I’ve been following this for too long – there are teams that go 0-4 (regular season) and still win the series…that part doesn’t matter. It’s just about the results of our first two games."
