The exhibition kicks off with a daytime event and open model casting on May 25, sponsored by Strawberry Moon. The week will focus on swim and resort wear, including fashion shows, daytime events, wellness programming, panel discussions and satellite presentations at Mondrian and select venues across Miami.

Some 49 designers from the UK, Colombia, the Netherlands, Italy, Brazil, Australia and China will participate. Mondrian South Beach will serve as a central runway hub, hosting individual designer showcases as well as curated group shows, while other satellite productions throughout the city will highlight independent and collaborative presentations.

On May 27 and 28, the organization will honor founder Moh Ducis, who passed away on October 8. A short film commemorating his life, accompanied by a live violinist, will be screened before the evening fashion show.

Wednesday’s show will kick off with a presentation by Ema Savahl Couture, which will benefit the Little Lighthouse Foundation and will include other designers. The week-long evening production will feature the largest and most technologically advanced stage show in the event’s history, including the largest LED screen ever used on a U.S. fashion show, surpassed only by the likes of Balenciaga and Christian Dior in Europe.

This week, Kristin Cavallari is teaming up with Resa to launch Uncommon James swimwear.

Additionally, there will be an expanded four-day swim fitness and health club series, including two on-site events at the Mondrian and two off-site wellness experiences at other Miami locations. The week also includes fashion panels and industry talks.

On May 30 and 31, the presentation of the Casa Hammock showroom will take place in the Tower Suites at Mondrian South Beach. The showroom will feature designers participating in the fashion shows in a direct-to-buyer format, allowing buyers, journalists and stylists to get up close and personal with the collections.
