The Los Angeles Rams earned a last-second victory over the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte in the first round of the 2026 NFL playoffs on Saturday.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford hit tight end Colby Parkinson for a late touchdown to give Los Angeles a 34-31 win.

According to ESPN NFL reporter Lindsey Thiry, Stafford delivered the absolute coldest message to wide receiver Davante Adams before the game-winning touchdown.
“Let’s go get their hearts,” Stafford apparently told Adams, Tilly reported. Wow. It’s absolutely heartless.
Talk about Stafford having unreal confidence ahead of a big moment in his career.
That should be the Rams’ rallying cry for the remainder of the postseason.
