The NFL Scouting Combine is over, and analysts and insiders are now sharing the gossip and educated guesses they gleaned from the week.
NBC’s fantasy expert Matthew Berry is the latest to share his detailed account of the combine rumors, and he’s dropping a few nuggets on the Tennessee Titans.

Now, sometimes early-draft teams just put stuff out to spark trade interest or as a smokescreen, so who knows, but as it was explained to me, Tennessee views Love as the best player in this draft regardless of position, and given how many holes the team has, they’re probably going to take the best player in each round. Love will be the star for a Titans team that doesn’t have many and will need star power with a new stadium expected to open in 2027. Considering new head coach Robert Saleh saw firsthand what an elite RB can do for a team during his time in San Francisco, maybe “love for the Titans” isn’t as weird as you might first think.
Wan’Dale Robinson or Alec Pierce?
Count the Titans as one of the teams looking for impact wide receivers in free agency. Wan’Dale Robinson and Alec Pierce are two names I’ve heard of players they’re interested in. Robinson makes sense given that former Giants head coach Brian Daboll is the Titans’ new offensive coordinator. The Colts also appear to be placing the franchise tag on Pierce.

This is usually a fantasy football column, but I just discovered some interesting defensive player rumors, starting with the fact that the Bengals have zero interest in retaining Trey Hendrickson. They may make some noise about keeping him for PR purposes, but there’s no love lost between the parties and he’ll be playing elsewhere next year. Also, don’t be surprised if Minnesota moves on from Jonathan Allen, and I’m told Denver’s John Franklin Miles is headed to Tennessee.
