Marriott Bonvoy rolls out a major new offer for loyal members

Planning ahead means you can save some money on better deals and promotions. Marriott knows many travelers will do this, so in late 2025 and early 2026, Marriott canceled several special offers and promotions.

In November, the luxury hotel giant offered loyalty members 25% off bookings at thousands of hotels around the world through the Marriott Bonvoy app as part of its “Sell Online” promotion. The deal requires bookings by early December for stays lasting until late February 2026.

In early February, Marriott Bonvoy launched its first major promotion of 2026, rewarding travelers who explore different hotel brands rather than a single hotel brand. By signing up before April 26 and booking a paid stay between February 25 and May 10, 2026, members can fast track their elite status and earn extra points toward future vacations.

  • 2,500 bonus points: Earn every “stay” (even a one-night trip).

  • 1 additional Elite Night Point: Earn points for each unique brand you stay at (for example, one for Moxy, one for Westin).

  • No income limit: There is no limit to the points or brand points you can collect.

The goal of Marriott’s partnership with AEG Presents is to provide members with in-house opportunities to attend major music festivals. Instead of spending thousands of points or dollars, a few lucky members can get these experiences for the price of a cup of coffee.

Promotional packages include more than just tickets.

  • Coachella Music Festival (California): 2 guest passes to enter the festival and campsite, VIP channel Access to the main stage and rose garden areas, as well as limited backstage access.

  • Stagecoach (California): 2 guest passes, corral pit Entry (in front of the main stage), Diamond Lounge entrance and use of the exclusive air-conditioned salon.

  • All East Points (London): include VIP pitguest area and free food/drink vouchers.

  • Seine Rock (Paris): including backend VIP channel and attend the official after-party.

“We want to give music fans even more opportunities by making them unlockable in your everyday life—carpooling or your morning coffee,” said Peggy Roe, executive vice president and chief customer officer at Marriott International. “These 1-point rewards turn loyalty into opportunities to enjoy the biggest music moments of the year.”
