Manuel Guinard and Guido Andreozzi, who became a doubles team last August, are veterans in a sport that doesn’t typically reward players over 30.
The pair captured the men’s doubles Baccarat trophy at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells on Saturday.

The victory was a breakthrough for Ginard and Andreozzi, who have been steadily building momentum on the ATP Tour. Both men have spent most of their careers competing in Challenger events.
The victory in Indian Wells showed that these two can win together in the biggest events in the world and provides motivation for the rest of the season.
“Hopefully we can get more titles,” Guinard said. “We’ll keep moving forward.”

Reaching the finals was also a huge feat for Rinderknech and Vacherot. Before the tournament, the cousins had yet to win a game together.
In the singles match, Lindekneci won a match and broke serve ahead of No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz. He lost that match but made it all the way to the doubles final with his cousin, who played two years at Texas A&M.
