ARLINGTON, Wis. (WFRV) – A man from southern Wisconsin was arrested for his fourth OWI after a police officer found him asleep on the highway.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, on Saturday, February 7, at approximately 6:30 p.m., an off-duty officer reported a disabled vehicle on Highway 60 near I-90/94 in Arlington.
The off-duty officer reported that the driver, later identified as Alex C. Feggestad, 48, was slumped over the steering wheel.

Deputies were able to wake Fegstad, who allegedly noticed signs of intoxication, and ultimately determined the McFarland man was impaired.
Fegstad was arrested and transported to the Columbia County Jail on the following charges:
