OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – A 32-year-old Oshkosh man is in custody following a shooting that left another man with life-threatening injuries Monday afternoon.
According to the Oshkosh Police Department, around 1:30 p.m., a man entered the police station and told telecommunications workers that he had just shot someone at a residence in the 700 block of West Ninth Avenue.

Police responded to the home and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect, a 32-year-old Oshkosh man, was taken into custody and faces charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and possession of methamphetamine.
The investigation is ongoing.
