A man accused of raping another patient at a Boston hospital will appear in court Monday afternoon.
Barry Howze, 55, is accused of raping another patient while he was hospitalized in the Boston Medical Center emergency room late on the night of Sept. 13 and into Sept. 14, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Howze was indicted by a Suffolk County jury on Dec. 12 and charged with two counts of rape, one count of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 years of age, one count of assault and battery on a disabled person and one count of witness intimidation.

Howze will be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court on Monday at 2 p.m.
