POLK COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — An LSU bus slipped on a snowy road in western Arkansas Monday night, according to Polk County Sheriff Scott Sawyer.

The bus driver was heading back to Louisiana after the team flew back to Baton Rouge.
The driver’s GPS led him to an icy county road in Polk County, where the bus ended up in a ditch, Sawyer said. He pointed out that the driver was the only one on the bus at the time of the accident and he was not injured.
The bus was towed back onto the road and continued back to Baton Rouge, Sawyer said.
