Their superstar defender, Victor Herdman, was in Milan competing for Team Sweden at the Winter Olympics. Hedman never came off the bench once in the quarterfinals. It turned out that he was injured while warming up.

The Chargers got more good news from Zeitler during that media appearance. He added that Brayden Point, Charles Edward Dastos and Emil Martinson-Lilberg are also ready to play against Toronto.
Poe had to miss the Olympics after being named to Canada’s team due to a knee injury, but he’s apparently now recovered.

Both Lierberg and Dastos are on injured reserve heading into the Olympic break, but are clearly fit to play.
The Chargers face Toronto on Wednesday and Carolina on Thursday, so now is a good time to get back to full strength.
