The 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC) opened in Barcelona, Spain on Monday and is expected to end on March 5. Tech companies from around the world will showcase their new devices and products at the event. On the first day of MWC 2026, Lenovo showed off various concept laptop models, as well as a concept for a foldable gaming handheld device. Dubbed the Lenovo Legion Go Fold concept, the device is said to support split-screen multitasking and desktop-style interactions in addition to handheld gaming. Additionally, the company announced a launch schedule for Lenovo Qira, an AI assistant on personal ambient smart devices.

The tech company showed off its foldable gaming handheld concept device – the Lenovo Legion Go Fold. The device has a large 11-inch pOLED screen (when unfolded) with a 165Hz refresh rate, similar to a tablet. It has detachable controllers and a 7.2-inch display when folded. The device is powered by Intel Ultra 7 258V CPU and has 32G RAM and 1TB storage space.
In addition to handheld gaming, the Lenovo Legion Go Fold concept also supports multiple usage modes. For example, it will offer split-screen multitasking, extended display gaming, and desktop-style interactivity. The company added that the concept shows how foldable display technology can enable “hybrid gaming and productivity experiences” from a single device.
Lenovo ThinkBook modular AI computer concept
At MWC 2026, the tech company also showcased its Lenovo ThinkBook Modular concept laptop, with the slogan “Carry small, use big.” This concept laptop is equipped with a 14-inch display. The company says the device’s base is designed to support interchangeable display configurations. Additionally, it allows users to remove and replace different input components, modular I/O ports, and other components.
In addition, the Lenovo ThinkBook modular concept laptop allows users to connect secondary monitors in multiple orientations to expand multitasking capabilities. Users can also swap out the keyboard to install a 19-inch keyboard instead of a smaller one.
Lenovo Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept
Lenovo Yoga Book Pro 3D concept machine during MWC 2026. It’s a “glasses-free” 3D laptop concept designed to allow content creators to see and manipulate the visual depth of elements on the display. It combines dual displays with “artificial intelligence-driven 2D to 3D conversion.” Additionally, a concept laptop that supports gesture interaction and other creative controls was demonstrated. It is said to reduce “friction in immersive content creation.” It also marks the tech giant’s foray into “spatial computing.”
Lenovo Qira device assistance is rolling out soon
The company also announced that it will soon begin rolling out Lenovo Qira. The company calls it “personal ambient intelligence,” which will be built at the system level and integrated into select Lenovo and Motorola devices rather than running as a standalone app. Lenovo’s Qira will work with the company’s PCs, tablets, smartphones, laptops and wearables.
The tech company claims Lenovo Qira is “designed to help maintain continuity between tasks and devices.” Personal ambient assistants will be able to perform tasks by taking user intent into account. Lenovo plans to launch the AI assistant through OTA updates on more than 20 devices that are part of the company’s PC portfolio, including Yoga series, IdeaPad series, Legion series and ThinkPad series.
Some future devices will come pre-installed with Lenovo Qira, such as the upcoming Lenovo Idea Tab Gen 2. Meanwhile, Lenovo’s PC range will receive Qira in six languages in nine regions, such as English in the US, UK and India, Spanish in the US, Latin America and Spain, French in France, Italian in Italy, German in Germany and Portuguese in Brazil. The company plans to make more languages available on Motorola phones later this year.
